Back home and moving..

Well we made it back from our month long vacation to Wyoming (which was sooo awesome) only to get the flu and then start moving. Jose was able to come pick us up at the airport and fly back to Georgia with us, so the trip wasn't that bad. Gabriel was sick on the way home however and that wasn't much fun. The next two days we all spent in the bathroom, couch or in bed. It was rough. Come to find out we all got the flu. Once that was over with we were able to stock up on grocery's and prepare for the big move to Kentucky. The movers come on Thursday to take most of our stuff. I am glad that I don't have to pack a lot, but still, we will be without a lot of our stuff until sometime in October. Not to mention we still have to sell this house and find a new one when we get there. Oh and did I mention that our dog is pregnant? Oh yeah, that's going to be fun, she is due about the time we have to move. So I have bought enough tylenol and Excedrin to get me though the month...not looking forward to all of this headache, but in the end I hope it will be what we want! haha. On a brighter note here are some pictures of our time in Wyoming. We really had a great time, and the month went way to quick, but I am sure my parents are glad to have their house back!

One Hot Weekend...

We took a little trip to the water park this weekend. It was only 96 degrees outside and we figured a little cool down was necessary. Michael of course loved it! He was hard to get out of the water. He is my little fish. Gabriel on the other hand took some getting used to. At first he hated it, then he was bearing it, then finally he didn't want to leave. They had what they call the lazy river. The boys loved getting soaked as we went under the bridges. Carolina was great, she slept almost the whole time, and only woke up to eat once, then on the ride home. We got some great pictures and had a blast. On Monday, Michael had his surgery, so he's a little sore now but he is such a trooper! Well here are the pictures from last weekends event.

Daddy made a new friend..

As you can see, Michael was anxious to get in the water!

Carolina Starts Solids!!

Well she hasn't had her 4 month check-up yet, but we decided to start her on solids anyway. She never seems to get enough milk and I figured she was old enough to start. She rolls over, holds her head really well, and is almost trying to sit up. She sure has been a joy to watch. She loves to coo and scream, and kick her feet. Jose was ready to start feeding her. I didn't realize how much he missed feeding babies!! haha. Well we caught the first feeding and decided to put them on here for your enjoyment as well..She made some really cute faces!

One of her many unhappy faces :(

Guess she didn't need our help after all

Trying to take off her bib

This one was so cute, we just had to add it

This was the first bite she took

Well not much has been going on around here. Summertime has finally arrived and the grass grows like crazy!! (Jose tells me this because he is the one cutting it every weekend). The kids are getting bigger. Carolina's big accomplishment this month has been rolling over. She learned how on the 3rd of June and hasn't slowed down since. She now hates being on her back. The boys are starting to say a few more words. They love to terrorise the dogs, and play with stuff they shouldn't. It has been fun, and a little demanding watching them at this stage. Jose is still working hard everyday. Really ready to get out of here. He should find out in the next couple weeks if the Military Police program is going to go through. If it does his schooling will last for 4 months. We are planning on returning to Wyoming for awhile if that happens. We have no idea where we would go after he does his schooling. As for me, I to am in school via the Internet. I attend the University of Phoenix online and I am working towards an Associates Degree in Criminal Justice. It is easier than I thought it would be, and I really like doing it this way. Well I guess that's it for now. Here are some pictures of the boys caught in the act, as well as Carolina! Enjoy. Hope to see most of you soon!

She is a daddy's girl!

Well the warmer weather has finally arrived here in Georgia, and what better way to welcome it than going to the beach? The boys had a blast playing in the sand, hitting each other with sticks and taking nose dives in the water! We drove for like 2 hours due to a traffic jam (people in the south can't drive) both ways! So the boys were sick of their car seats by the end of the day. Carolina slept so well with waves and the cool breeze...and I was happy to catch a little bit of sun!! Jose is going back to the field next month and the month after that....and after that...we aren't sure when and if he is going to deploy anytime soon but as an Army wife I've come to expect the worst. We take all the time we can get!! They are going to start opening up the pools and water parks soon, so we will have many more pictures to come! Love you guys!

Where are you going Michael? Jump in!

Yeah I know I look good!

aha! Take that!

Noooo!!!!! You are dirty!

Ahhhh...I love my boys!

At the petting zoo....

The boys went to the petting zoo for the first time and we had some mixed emotions about it. The one who I thought would love it, hated it, and the one who I thought would hate it, loved it so....Michael won't be in these pictures

He didn't want to leave

He really got a kick out of the goats

He was actually yelling at the goat right before this picture

Our sweet baby

I happened to catch a pretty cute video of Carolina in between feedings where she is cooing and happy. She is beginning to smile a lot more now and everytime she does she melts my heart!! So sweet...

Hanging out....

Just taking a few pics lately from here and there, the boys love to sit with daddy, we went to a Rattlesnake Round-Up this past weekend so got some of there, and Carolina with her hair actually not sticking up! haha. So enjoy these. Things that are we are looking forward to next month is, Jose finally going to the board, his birthday of course, and my family's visit!! yay! Not to much else is going on around here.

Michael loves anything that is dangerous and easy to fall off of

And here he is telling his brother just how to handle this thing

This snake was huge!! not anything like the rattlesnakes we have back home

Time spent with Grandpa

Well we got a treat this weekend. Jose's father flew in from New Jersey on Thursday and he stayed with us until Sunday afternoon. It was nice to finally meet him and for him to meet the kids. They sure enjoyed his presence, and it didn't take them long to realize that he was gonna save them from evil mom and dad!! haha. They sure had a good time with him as did we. It was nice to see them together and even though there is a language barrier between us, it was a comfortable atmosphere. I felt like I had known him for a long time. So we just had an awesome weekend and now we are having to break the kids back into the normal routine, the one where they don't get away with everything anymore!! hehe. Enjoy the pics!!

Michael was a little shy at first

Carolina warmed right up though!

Oh how things have changed

Wow, ok, well the boys are starting to adjust to their little sister so that's nice. Gabriel even gives her kisses. They would rather play with her toys than their own (well they just want to sit in the swing) and they even try to share their blankets with her. So that part is fun to watch and they enjoy her. The bad news is, now they fight for attention with each other. Gabriel likes to bite and Michael likes to hit. Oh and they are both really good at throwing a fit, so I am hoping this stage will pass soon!! As for Carolina, she's a good baby, even if she has her days and nights mixed up sometimes. She is almost 3 weeks old, and she had gained a pound as of her 2 week check up. She's a good eater, and she loves her daddy!! We are missing him this week as he is in the field. I forgot for a moment that he's in the Army and that I would have to take on all 3 of them by myself but we are managing!! As for him and I? Well things are good, also adjusting to a new baby and no time to each other. hehe. He has been talking about re-enlisting in April and going to Fort Carson, CO. So we will report more on that in April. Also hope to be promoted by that time as well. I am still here at home, doing the mommy thing. We will see where the road takes us, so far it's been a journey that I wouldn't trade for anything!! Love ya guys!
Aww..See Gabriel loves his little sister

Michael is good at smiling for the camera

One of her favorite spots to sleep

Carolina Dawn Rodriguez

Well our little bundle has finally arrived. She is our Super Bowl baby!! She came quick on February 1st 2009. She's 7lbs 11oz, and 20 1/2 in long, with a beautiful head of jet black hair! We were so excited that she has hair because if you remember her brothers hardly had any. Still don't! They are adjusting slowly, mad that they have to share their time with mommy and daddy. Well here are some pictures of our little Carolina! She's a doll and we are having so much fun getting to know her.

Our Little Slugger

We happened to catch a cute video of Michael swinging a bat. We have found out that he has both a good arm and a good swing so I guess Daddy's hope for an all-star baseball player is still possible. We thought this was cute and Gabriel was even helping out getting the ball for him.

Our Christmas in Wyoming

Thanks to my Great Grandma Ona we were able to head to Wyoming this year for Christmas. We had a great time catching up with everyone and the boys enjoyed their time with Grandpa, Grandma, Uncle Brian, Aunt Ashley and were even a little intimidated by their cousin Brooke. They all kept us laughing most of the time. It is sure cute to watch the 3 of them together. The boys got more than enough toys, clothes, and affection to last them for awhile. They get a little spoiled when they are with their Grandma, she was nice enough to make sure that they two of EVERYTHING so that no fighting would erupt. I love spending time with my family and because there are 1700 miles between us, we don't get to see each other as much as we would like. So I would like to thank you guys for putting some important stuff on hold so you could spend the time with us as well. We had a great time and miss you already!! Love you all. It was sure worth the 30 hour car ride!! Hehe
